A quick look at our 2016 social media campaign for Hastings Hotel's Christmas Vouchers

The Hastings Collection consists of six luxurious hotels across the province. The fabulous properties offer guests an impressive choice of style, from city-based hotels to those that are located amidst breath-taking scenery and world famous golf courses.

To continue the success of our previous Christmas Vouchers campaigns, this year we've work with Hastings to develop a new Facebook advertising strategy to run alongside press, outdoor and radio activity, with the aim of increasing the value of voucher purchases from new and existing customers.

First we identified our target audiences for each type of Christmas voucher use, ranging from spa packages to golf days, and then created over 40 individual creatives with each target audience in mind. We wanted to ensure that the content spoke directly to the viewer by being pertinent, and demonstrating how a Hastings Christmas Voucher is the perfect solution to their gift giving conundrum!

These creative treatments were applied across a number of different Facebook ad formats including; Canvas, Click to call ads, Multi-product ads and Click to website ads. And the effect? Well, perhaps you'll be lucky enough to find one in your stocking on the 25th...

Our targeted approach is the key to delivering a tailored message to the relevant audience. We created look-a-like audiences and used Facebook Pixel to optimise ads. Alongside other specific targeting criteria we implemented remarketing to encourage previous visitors to the website to return and make a purchase.

With over 40 creatives, 5 different ad formats, 7 target groups and more than 50 different vouchers available, Hastings Hotels is helping thousands of people to gift a little bit of luxury this Christmas.
