Quacking Award Win for Hastings & AVB

Hastings Hotels and AV Browne scored a birdie today at the annual Chartered Institute of Marketing (Ireland) Awards winning the Best Brand Building Category, and being Highly Commended in the Best Integrated Campaign Category with their Christmas ‘Doorman and the Duck’ campaign.

With the roster of judges including some of the most senior marketeers within the industry in Ireland, the adjudication panel expectations were high.  The competition in the Brand Building Category was especially formidable, with renowned brands like Tayto, the National Trust, Translink, Tobermore, Bloc Blinds, and the Irish News also shortlisted finalists.

After the awards, Joanne Curran, Marketing Director, AV Browne said,

The Hastings Christmas Doorman and the Duck campaign is a truly heartwarming story that was the culmination of a three year marketing strategy. The approach was a real departure for Hastings’ and we are delighted that their trust in us to helped them achieve unprecedented brand awareness and well above target Christmas voucher sales”.
