AV Browne partner with Woodland Trust Northern Ireland at Balmoral Show

We are delighted to support the Woodland Trust Northern Ireland by creating a sustainable woodland installation experience for the charity at the 152nd Balmoral Show.

Native woods and trees are one of the best ways to tackle the climate crisis and are places that countless people have deepened their gratitude for over the course of the pandemic.  So, when AV Browne were invited by the Woodland Trust to work with them on their 2021 Balmoral Show stand, we decided to donate our time for free.

We wanted to make sure the charity could put all of their budget towards the build of an experience that would ignite all senses, be remembered long after the show, and have a real impact on visitors.

The Woodland Trust Northern Ireland’s aim for this year’s Balmoral Show is to give an immersive introduction to all visitors on what they do in Northern Ireland, and to specifically encourage landowners and farmers to consider planting trees to help tackle the climate and nature emergencies. As well as the ‘woodland experience’ they are hosting a series of woodland clinics at the Show from 22 – 25 September 2021 where visitors can find out more about different grants available to help create woodland on their land.

As AV Browne are a creative company who strives to value People, Planet and Profit equally, we created the experience from reusable, recyclable and biodegradable materials.

Stephen Moore, Group Creative Director at AV Browne explained  “We really believe in the aims of the Woodland Trust and the importance of their work in planting, restoring and protecting trees and over 50 woods throughout Northern Ireland. We wanted to make sure that every visitor to Balmoral had a memorable experience and that work of the Woodland Trust was explained in an engaging and inspiring way.

In line with the Woodland Trust’s aim to be plastic free on their estate and as AV Browne are a creative company who strives to value People, Planet and Profit equally, we created the experience from reusable, recyclable and biodegradable materials. We hope to continue to support the Woodland Trust long into the future.”
