BBC Make IT:Work

We worked with the BBC’s Digital & Learning team to create a short series of videos and animations about employability and motivation, featuring local comedian Micky Bartlett.

Make It is a multi-platform project aiming to raise awareness of the educational attainment gap in Northern Ireland and its impact on wider society. We were tasked with creating a suite of videos and animations to be used by school leavers across Northern Ireland, helping them to understand paths to employment and develop skills like interview technique and writing a CV.

Using Micky as the central figure, we created avatars, caricatures of 3 strangely familiar flatmates and even an 8-bit game version. Our studio team worked on the character design, animations and production of 5 videos which will be used as part of Make It: Work, a season of careers workshops in Northern Irish schools, on BBC social media accounts and on the Make It website.
